How does everyone calculate their investment returns? I am keen to compare the different ETF’s in my portfolio. I want to include the impacts of dividends as well as capital growth. I also invest regularly so have different purchase unit prices. How often does everyone do this kind of review? Annually? I am hoping someone may have an excel template available. Thank you

Thank you Pearler team for the Navexa integration, it has been a long awaited feature. What happens to Navexa portfolio if it has been synced using email forwards before. Does the new Navexa integration handle overwriting on top and not duplicating the trades? What should I do if I have existing Navexa porfolio that has been set up to sync using automatic email forwarding?

My current portfolio is 55% VGS and 37.5% VAS. For the remaining, I have recently trimmed my VGE exposure to 7.5% (earlier it was averaging between 15% to 10%). This is mainly to reduce my exposure to China. I am thinking of adding Europe specific ETF (say VEQ) and Japan specific ETF (?). While VGS does offer both Europe & Japan but it is US heavy. Any suggestions on which ETF should I go for (for Japan) and how should I balance my portfolio?

I have never delt with an advisor before and based on my own research have majority of my savings already in VDHG. Hi everyone, I was wondering whether or not it is possible to say that REITs are rather moving with the share market or with the property market. I understand that different REITs have exposure to different types of properties and hence might behave differently. My understanding is also that most REITs concentrate on commercial property and that returns do not necessarily align with residential property. But being the more liquid-able asset compared to owning property outright, does that change anything about the dynamics of this asset class? I’m aware that roughly 6% of the ASX200 are coming from the real estate sector and that similar figures probably apply to other indexes. Ultimately it leads to the question whether or not additional exposure to REITs can be beneficial when not owning property. I acknowledge that this depends on personal circumstances, so maybe see it rather as a general discussion what REITs do to a portfolio in terms of market exposure, risk, expected returns and volatility. I’m a beginner. I have been on here for about 2 months and started with micro-EFT. I feel comfortable with this choice and frequency of investment and can see growth already. My questions are do all ETF’s pay dividends? How frequently? Or do only some pay dividends and the rest you need to sell? How do you know which ones will pay dividends when it is a whole portfolio of EFT?

Hi, I am wondering why i should invest in ETF's vs Super. ETFs and super seem to offer similar returns but once i withdraw my gains, i am taxed way less in super vs ETFs at around 50%? Also, super offers the tax benefits for my income. Thank you
