I have 141 shares in VGS. I bought 55 in a single transaction at $96.76. Does Pearler allow me to sell only those 55 shares? If I go select "Sell VGS" and request to sell 55 shares, which ones are being sold? It isn't clear how Pearler selects the shares to be sold. Are they first in first out?

Looking for some clarity on the Monthly/ Annual subscription Pearler offers. Would you only pay the monthly fee ($5, $15) or is it the monthly fee and the additional trade cost?

I've been wondering why people choose VDHG over IVV? I understand VDHG is more diversified but the MER (0.27%) is is so much higher than IVV (0.04%). Performance of IVV has been better then VDHG recently as well (but probably due to all the money printing going on).

On the recent webinar, Hayden answered a quersion of mine regarding manual autoinvest using direct deposit. He mentioned that there are some smart features where the deposit reference text is scanned by pearler and if it has some characteristics (ie, something like containing "Autoinvest", or the like) it will automatically divert it to my autoinvest account. I can't seem to find any reference to this feature or how to take advantage of it. Does anyone know anything about it or where to find how to use it?

Hi All, I have been investing for some years now and I will continue too invest. I have over $25,000 invested at the moment and I would like to know for tax purpose what type of accounts would be suitable . So that I don't get taxed at full threshold. Can you please give example of account setup knowing that I have saved a decent amount . I would to set my foundations right so that I get it right from the beginning. Thanks Julius

Hello there. Hoping someone can help with my analysis paralysis on whether to consolidate long and short term investment goals into one "bucket" or if it's best to keep em separated. I'm investing larger amounts of $ into my CHESS ETFs on a regular basis as part of my long term investment FI strategy. I also currently trickle smaller amounts (a few hundred each fortnight) as a short term savings goal to pay off a 9K bill due in a few years (currently in Raiz). Conscious of keeping my long term "sacred", but also trying to minimise fees. Cheers for any wisdom!

Hi there, I am a low income mum of 3 trying to invest for our future. I am currently investing with automated payments fortnightly into micro investments. I’m just wondering at what point do I move over to bigger etfs etc? Would this be a case of selling my micro and using that to invest into bigger etfs? Or is there a way to somehow transfer micro to bigger etfs? Thank you :-)

Hello New here and just working everything out - very much a late starter. I'm a bit of an oldie (60) with some spare cash. I am thinking of buying an ETF in my name for each of my four grandchildren, which I will gift to them when they each reach 18 or when I die, whichever comes first. Can I do this? If so, how do I do this? Any recommendations for an ETF? Appreciate any feedback, thank you :-)

Hey pearlers, Another dumb question that you have heard a million times, I'm sure! but related to DRP, if in (settings > share settings and dividends > and flicked dividends payments enabled). Will this feature grab all dividends from my holdings and re-invest into my shares?? Sorry it sounds self-explanatory but just was curious on how this worked. Thankyou!

Thoughts on why DZZF isn't more popular given its combo of FAIR and ETHI at a much lower management fee? I have been investing in this instead of buying shares in the separate etfs but am a little concerned by the low growth in funds under management. The 10% inclusion of green bonds may not suit people wanting a purely growth etf but for I figure it isn't a bad way to include some defensive assets to help balance my portfolio. Please don't judge me by my pearler portfolio I invest across a couple of brokerage platforms.
