I grew up in Daylesford, and moved to Melbourne to study civil engineering and science. After obtaining my degree, I worked at Melbourne Water for around five years until mid 2015, where I saved up my money and eventually invested most of it in shares in mid to late 2018. I haven’t been working much since 2015, mostly living off my savings, though more recently I’ve been thinking about working and saving more again to buy land and build a house, or buy a house, as my partner and I have recently started a family. We’re currently transitioning to living in my late Gran’s house in Daylesford, Central Victoria, for the time being.
