Hi everyone, I started my investment journey in April last year after getting inspired by the Barefoot Investor - Scott Pape. I started right from scratch with ZERO knowledge about stock markets and financial independence. Investing somehow always seemed too complex and risky but as I started learning about it and its importance, I started enjoying the journey and its benefits. A funny story - My first serious stock purchase was of Afterpay. I bought a few stocks of Afterpay in April 2020 for $29. It fell to $27 a few days later. I panicked and sold all my stocks in loss with a regret investing in the first place. Today, the price of its stock is approximately $118. This experience taught me many lessons about investing in general and in researching stocks. I hope to share my knowledge and inspire others (especially millennials) to invest, plan and organise their financial future.
