Hey everyone, I’m brand new to investing and wondering if anyone has any advice for starting out and better understanding the investing world?

Hi Ella, and welcome!

I would say a few things:

— Do a little research on the most common investment options among the community and get started in a small way: https://pearler.com/explore/invest/shares

— It’s easy to become overwhelmed by the options, but try not to stress yourself out. There is not one right way to invest, and there are a lot of good options out there. So don’t feel the need to find the ‘best’ investment, it doesn’t exist :)

The following article might help you in figuring out your own style of investing: https://pearler.com/explore/learn/blog/invest...

And this article has a bunch of regrets/mistakes from the Pearler community: https://pearler.com/explore/learn/blog/invest...

Too many people get stuck in analysis paralysis, reading for months and months without taking any action.

If you focus on saving consistently, and choosing half-decent investments, that goes a very long way to long term success.

Hope that helps.
Dave
