SLR Senior Investment Corp. is a closed-end, externally managed, non-diversified management investment company. The Company invests primarily in privately held United States middle-market companies. The Company's investment objective is to seek to maximize current income consistent with the preservation of capital. It seeks to achieve its investment objective by directly and indirectly investing primarily in senior loans, including first lien, and second lien debt instruments, made to private middle-market companies whose debt is rated below investment grade, which it refers to senior loans. It also invests directly in the debt and equity securities of public companies that are thinly traded or in other equity and equity-related securities, and such investments may not be limited to any minimum or maximum market capitalization. In addition, it invests in foreign markets, including emerging markets. The Company's investment activities are managed by SLR Capital Partners, LLC.
