The Company’s product pipeline is primarily focused on inhibitors of protein phosphatases, used alone and in combination with cytotoxic agents and/or x-ray and immune checkpoint blockers. The Company encompasses that inhibitors of protein phosphatases have broad therapeutic potential not only for cancer but also for other debilitating and life-threatening diseases. It is focused on development activities of its LB-100 series of drugs. The LB-100 series have activity against a broad spectrum of common and rarer human cancers in cell culture systems. In addition, lead compounds of the LB-100 series have anti-cancer activity in animal models of glioblastoma multiforme, neuroblastoma, and medulloblastoma, all cancers of neural tissue.
