The Company provides intermediate-term bridge or transitional financing for a variety of purposes, including acquisitions, recapitalizations, refinancings and a range of business plans. It may also directly originate and invest in mezzanine loans, subordinated mortgage interests and other real estate securities, and may also invest in preferred equity investments and other investments. The Company's loan portfolio consisted of approximately 73 commercial real estate loan investments.
