Its investment objective is to generate current income and long-term capital appreciation. The Company’s portfolio is comprised primarily of investments in senior secured loans and second lien secured loans of private middle market United States (US) companies and subordinated loans and certain asset-based financing loans of private US companies. It purchases interests in loans or make other debt investments, including investments in senior secured bonds, through secondary market transactions in the over-the-counter (OTC) market or directly from its target companies as primary market or directly originated investments. It also purchases or acquire interests in the form of common or preferred equity or equity-related securities, such as rights and warrants. The Company’s investment advisor is FS/KKR Advisor, LLC.
