The Company and Duke Realty Limited Partnership are specialized in the ownership, management and development of industrial real estate. The Company operates through two segments: Rental Operations and Service Operations. Its Rental Operations is engaged in the ownership and development of industrial properties. Its Service Operations segment is engaged in providing various real estate services primarily relating to development, construction management and property management services to customers, unconsolidated joint ventures and third-party owners. It owns or jointly controls approximately 548 industrial properties, which consist of 162.7 million rentable square feet. It also owns approximately 431 acres of land and controls an additional 925 acres through purchase options. It has operations in approximately 18 metropolitan areas, including Atlanta, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dallas, and others.
