Cornerstone Total Return Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a closed-end, diversified management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek capital appreciation with current income as a secondary objective. The Fund’s portfolio, under normal market conditions, will consist principally of the equity securities of large, mid and small-capitalization companies. Equity securities in which the Fund may invest include common and preferred stocks, convertible securities, warrants and other securities having the characteristics of common stocks, such as American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and International Depository Receipts (IDRs). The Fund invests in various sectors, such as information technology, healthcare, consumer discretionary, communication services, financials, closed-end funds, industrials, consumer staples, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), materials, real estate, and utilities. Cornerstone Advisors, LLC serves as an investment manager for the Fund.
