Altech Batteries Ltd. is a specialty battery technology company, which engages in commercializing a solid-state sodium alumina battery production facility and developing battery materials for a Lithium-ion battery. The company is headquartered in Subiaco, Western Australia and currently employs 19 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2010-01-27. The battery technology uses table salt and nickel, which is lithium-free; cobalt-free; graphite-free; and copper-free, eliminating exposure to critical metal price rises and supply chain concerns. The company is also engaged in the construction and operation of a 4,500tpa HPA processing plant.
