We are working on a reward system that should make an otherwise boring investing journey fun. We want you to feel (and also be) rewarded for good behaviour and we believe if done right this can help you stick to the good habits!

We are always open to feedback, feel free to drop any thoughts/considerations! :)

Enabling Reward/Badges

You will need to turn on the experimental feature for Reward/Badges.

You can do so via Settings -> Other -> Experimental Features and check on the Reward/Badges box.

You will then see your badges and XP on the top-right profile drop down, it should look something like the below: Screenshot 2022-12-13 at 2.02.05 PM.png

Experience points (XP)

For now we reward XP whenever you do one of the actions below:

  • Every time you deposit
  • Every time you invest into an ETF
  • Every time your exchange comment is approved

Badges

We currently give out badges for the below achievements:

  • Have not made a sell order for 3/6/12/24 months
  • Haven’t turned off autoinvest for 3/6/12/24 months
  • Have been with Pearler for 6/12/24/60 months

We check and assign/revoke badges once a day (sometime around midnight) so don't panic if you don't see them on your dashboard immediately.

Uses of XP and badges

These XP and badges currently have no active uses, the plan is to give out rewards (e.g. free brokerage, discounted brokerage moving forward etc) once you hit certain thresholds of XP / when you get certain badges but we are still figuring this out.
