Should I be nervous to invest larger amounts?

Investing Strategy

Hey, I'm 18 very new to my investing stage, and just signed up with pearler. I'm planning to micro invest $50 every 2 weeks mainly focusing on VAS and VGS. I really want to begin on the ASX but am extremely hesitant on putting a large sum such as $500 into a basic ETF. Is there anything I can do to settle this and perhaps feel more comfortable about doing this?

Hey Matias.

Maybe just get comfortable with the $50 amounts first, then increase it to $100, and so on. Until $500 doesn’t feel as big anymore. You’ll naturally get used to it as time goes on, so just ramp it up slowly is what I would do – that should help :)
