Investing Strategy

I am thinking of a 70% core base with VDHG along with 10% HACK, 10%NDQ and 10%QUAL. Is this a good strategy? Is it better to ditch either NDQ or QUAL? If so why and what other ETF would you suggest? Many thanks šŸ™

Hi Saravanan.

Looks like you’re following a core/satellite type portfolio. I think that can make sense, with most of the money in a boring diversified all-in-one index, it’s hard to argue against that.

As for other ETFs, that’ll be a matter of taste and preference. HACK is genuinely different from what you have, but NDQ and QUAL are kind of doubling up on the US companies inside VDHG. So I’m not sure they’re adding all that much uniqueness at 10% of the portfolio each.

I invest very boringly so I’m not the best person to ask for other ETF ideas, haha.
