I would probably only do that if there wouldn’t be much or any CGT to pay.

I wrote that before the battery subsidies came out, so you’ll have to then add in the expected savings of that yourself :) But in general, it definitely can make financial sense.

Solar easy. Just pay it off instead paying bills and before you know it you’ll be saving more than you’d realise lol
