Rollovers can be complex, as external super funds are limited in the information they can share with Pearler Super.
When a rollover is processed, Pearler Super only receives the total dollar amount transferred—no details about what type of contributions were made.
As a result, if you've made voluntary contributions (such as personal or salary sacrifice contributions) to your previous super fund towards the First Home Super Saver (FHSS) scheme, you will need to let us know so it can be more accurately reflected on your dashboard.
HomeSoon is a version of Pearler Super that is designed to help you track contributions that you intend to access as part of the First Home Super Saver Scheme (FHSS). This government scheme lets eligible first home buyers save for a deposit inside super while still getting tax benefits.
Activating both Pearler Super and HomeSoon will allow you to set up separate portfolios and invest differently for your retirement and home deposit saving needs and any non-concessional/voluntary contributions or salary sacrifice payments will automatically go towards your HomeSoon portfolio by default. Any shared cash is displayed under Super to help maintain the overall account’s minimum cash holding requirement.
As always, before making financial decisions, please do your own research and read the Pearler Super product disclosure statement along with the TMD and other important documents listed here.
