CHESS-Sponsored vs Custodial vs Micro-investing

Direct investing

A brokerage fee of $6.50 is charged for each buy or sell of each ETF or share for both automated and manual investments. We offer referral cash bonuses, prepaid credits and subscription plans to lower this fee, which may help if you are going to be investing regularly.

Micro investing

There is a monthly fee (see below) that is based on how much you have invested and if you are buying into one investment option or many. No additional brokerage fees apply.
