Able to view today's profit/loss of the shares you hold per day
UNDER REVIEW
I just transferred from CommSec. on their commsec app, they have tool to check how much you earned or lost per day. It also gives you real time updates and also calculates total profit and loss on the stock you hold. Added an image from the app. I had shares listed there until yesterday. If I was making money it would show me in green with percentage and if not, It's red... I wonder if this can be implemented. Thanks

>earned or lost per day No thanks - That goes completely against the "set and forget" mantra that Pearler is trying to achieve. Pearler's advantage is that they DON'T show you day-by-day gains or losses. They're trying to encourage people to invest in the long term, not look at the short-term fluctuations. >total profit and loss on the stock you hold Yes please, that's a good feature for a long-term portfolio view.

This would be nice, but just to play devil's advocate for a moment... apart from the obvious answer of "all things in one tool", what would be the benefit of this vs using something like Sharesight (to which your Pearler account can easily be synced)?

Would love this if we could see cost vs value - a true P and L by holding, not just day by day

It would be amazing to see total profit/loss across all holdings (total portfolio) rather than on an individual bases as well. Again, add feature to “hide” for customers who do not want to see this.

Agree that it would be good to have this feature

Agree. Love this idea, could always be a feature that users could toggle on/off.

Pearler is focused on long-term investing, so personally I don’t see any need for per-day profit/loss figures. One of the reasons I like Pearler is because it *doesn’t* shove these kinds of statistics in my face.
