ETF Portfolio Advice

I am looking for a independent investment advisor I can develop a portfolio with so I can start investing. Happy to pay for service, but want someone with alot of experience that is able to simplify the market and products available. I have income and emergency fund, looking for growth long term with automated investing each month. Also looking for information on setting up investments for my children.

Hi Nathan.

Sounds like you’re on the right track so far, nice work :)

There are a few advisors that visit this forum from time to time I believe. But here are two others which I have come across which do seem more independent than most. I have no affiliation with these guys and I haven’t used their services myself, so just offering these for further research as opposed to verified recommendations.

Millennial Independent Advice: https://www.miadvice.com.au/
Guideway: https://guideway.com.au/
Independent Wealth Advice: https://www.iwadvice.com.au/

Hope that helps, and you may get some other suggestions here. What I would say is if possible try to just pay for ‘per hour’ advice, rather than a whole financial plan. Given you’ve covered most bases and you have a good idea what you want to do, all you may want is someone to simplify the options for you and give some general guidance.

Cheers, Dave
