Vanguard MSCI Index International Shares ETF

If I buy Vanguard MSCI Index International Shares ETF would i be liable for international tax as it's investing in non-Aus shares please?

Hi Tracey.

The answer is no, we don’t need to worry about international taxes if we’re investing in that particular fund (VGS). In this case, we receive our dividends from international shares and we declare that income in Australia for tax purposes :)
