Automatically Reinvest Betashare and Vanguard Dividends
Hi, Is there a way to automatically reinvest Betashare and Vanguard dividends and prevent them from going to my bank account?

Hi Ms Black.
Yep there is. I think Pearler is rolling out an automatic way to do this, but not sure if it’s officially running yet (maybe someone from Pearler can confirm this?).
The manual way is to contact the share registry who handles their dividend payments and notify them you’d like to use the dividend reinvestment plans.
Betashares uses Link Market Services: https://www.linkmarketservices.com.au/
Vanguard uses Computershare: https://www.computershare.com/au
When you first start investing you’ll receive paperwork notifying you about these share registries and giving you some login details where you can elect what you’d like to do with the dividends. So if you’ve already started investing, maybe dig around for that paperwork. Otherwise I guess you could call them and they could send you out that info again.
Hope that helps.

Nah they should definitely follow your instruction, but I must admit they do make it annoyingly difficult for some reason! I remember having quite a painful experience a while back. But it’s worth the time to get everything setup how you want it :) Good luck!
